Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need to join a Google Group?

Google Play requires testers to be part of a Google Group for closed testing tracks. This is how Google verifies that you're an authorized tester.

I joined the group but can't download the app?

It can take up to 15 minutes for Google Play to process your tester status. Make sure you've also accepted the invitation in Step 2, and that you're using the same Google account.

Will my data carry over to the final release?

Yes. Your study data, topics, and progress will be preserved when the app moves to public release. Cloud sync ensures everything stays in place.

How do I leave the testing program?

You can opt out at any time by visiting the testing page and clicking "Leave the program".
